Men and Machines: Death Flight. Werner Voss had 49 kills to his name when he was shot down over France in September 1917.

(top left) The view of Voss as his twin Spandau machine guns attack a British aircraft;

(centre left) Major James McCudden, V.C., the British ace whose team dispatched Voss;

(main pic) the battle between British SE5s and Voss in his Fokker triplane.

Original artwork from Look and Learn no. 692 (19 April 1975). Please note there is a vertical crease down the centre of the board which has been re-enforced. This is reflected in the price.
