This is the unique original Gouache painting by Peter Jackson.

Life on the river Nile in ancient times showing how the river was used to transport materials for the great Egyptian building projects and tamed to turn desert to arable land.

Probably from the Treasure comic possibly the 18th March 1967 issue which featured other Nile illustrations by Jackson. The close details and the sketched silhouettes of monumental buildings lend a wonderful perspective.
