This is the unique original Watercolour painting by Ron Embleton.

Beautiful assorted watercolour panels by the great Ron Embleton featured in The Valiant Book Of Pirates in 1967. Taken from "Benito The Sea Wolf" and " Daredevil Surcouf".

The first two panels depict the sea Captain Souley and his men boarding a pirate ship before immediately being captured and killed.

The final panel depicts a French Governor angrily scorning the daredevil Robert Surcouf flying the French flag meant as an antagonistic gesture.
